The End of the Tunnel

There it is, can you see it? That little glimmer? That's the light at the end of the tunnel, the tunnel of winter that is.

Our gold finches are getting back to their cute little golden selves - instead of the dreary grayed-yellow that they are during winter.

There was a warm breeze on the air this afternoon.

I actually saw a sunset this evening, that means that there were no clouds and there was quite clearly a sun.

One of the woodchucks that live in the yard was spotted in the back yard, looking for a snack.

And even though the address sign is still totally covered in snow, we can now see a good 25% of the deck.

It's due to be in the 40s the rest of the week and weekend.

This overly cheery post brought to you by the extra sunshine and vitamin D that I got doing errands this afternoon.

We have these tiny little red headed birds (I suppose they are some kind of finches) who stalk our house every spring/summer. This morning, my husband looked out the window and said "Guess who's back!"

Spring is here. I swear to God, if it goes away again, I'll lose it!
